Managing director of Berlin Brandenburg section of the German society for Solar Energy - we head for a renewable world. Energy system analyses are basic for our strategy. We rather use them we don’t do system analyses ourselves. Before that I headed the RLI group of Energy System optimization and transformation research which develops open source energy system models and data bases.
Special interest beyond system analyses are renewable heat supply and biomass use, as well as “black-start” capability of “electric cells”.
My focus in the open world are features to improve transparency and reproducibility.
